About me

Probably familiar: a bucket list that keeps getting longer and longer.
The world has so much beauty to offer, so why stay in one place?!

Let me introduce myself!

Hi, my name is Caitlinn, born in Amsterdam, but a citizen of the world. You know how they say “Home is where the heart is”? My heart is wherever I am at that moment!

Caitlin

I caught the travel bug  when I went to Tunisia for my first trip without my parents. Instead of lying on a beach to get a tan (like we did with my parents), I was amazed by the beautiful landscapes and surroundings, curious to meet new people, wanting to learn about their culture and taste the local food. I developed an urge and curiosity to keep exploring and see everything this amazing planet has to offer. I already got to see a lot of beautiful places and the bucket list is still growing!

Besides traveling and photography, I’m a great planner (which comes in handy as a freelance tour director) and have an eclectic range of interests; I love food,  yoga, (street)art, architecture, wine, whiskey and so goes on.

When it comes to food; I like to go to high class (Michelin-) restaurants and indulge myself with culinary delights.

Also when I travel I like to explore the fine kitchen, so I will give some restaurant recommendations here too! Of course not just expensive ones.. 😜

With WanderFullyInspired I want to take you on my journey and inspire you to travel responsibly, explore beautiful destinations, the best (luxurious) hotels, useful travel information, reviews, the best hot-spots, great activities and unique itineraries.  It’s all about getting the most out of our travel journey and that’s why I’d love to contribute to your future travel experiences, as well as you can contribute to mine!

Oh and by the way, I am a sucker for emoji’s (they just tend to make things more personal and bubbly I think), so you’ll be seeing some every now and then 💃

With love 💕 Caitlinn

P.S. Since English isn’t my first language (I’m from Holland), you might find some hick-ups every now and then. Please, feel free to correct me, so I can improve my writing in English! But just so you know: I try my best.. ツ

“Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.”
